The President's Hat by Antoine Laurain

I've posted about another book by this author before – The Red Notebook.  This book, The President's Hat, is also quite delightful – almost magical.  Well worth a read and don't be put off by the fact that it is a translated work – the President in question being the French President.

This is a charming fable about the impact a felt hat has on the various people that happen to find it and wear it.  Totally unbelievable but nothwithstanding that it is very whimsical and very enlightening about French culture and ways of thinking.

It's a short book so you can embark on it without using up too much time.
