Food on Friday: Quick & Easy

ON

The new Food on Friday is the opposite of the one we did on Slow Food.  This one is for dishes that are quick & easy to do.  We all need those in our repertoire for those days where we just don't have time to cook up a storm but don't want to resort to takeaways.

To add your dishes just put your name/blog name and the name of the dish into the first Mr Linky box and paste the url for your post about it into the second one.

To see all the other quick and easy dishes just pop over to this Pinboard where I'll be pinning all the links just as soon as I can.

I'm looking forward to some great new ideas for those weeknight meals.

PS  For a change of pace pop over to this Need Some Inspiration post with the features from FoF Slow Food

  1. This is really easy. Only 1 added step of pouring the juices out of the crock pot and wiping dry. Plus this tastes great cold. Steak fries are easy too. Enjoy your trip Carole...keep forgetting it's summer by you.

  2. Enjoy your vacation, Carole! Ah, yes summer... we don't have much faith it'll return to Canada. This is the coldest winter we've had in 35 years!

The meatloaf recipe (# 20) is easy and can prepared in advance, refrigerated and baked when you need it.

  8. Carole,
I've got several "Fast from the Farm Share" dishes that help me use my farm-fresh vegetables to get dinner on the table quick quick. From the vegetarian Fast Fresh Tomato Sauce and Squash, Mustard Greens and Chick Pea Curry to Quick Pickled Herring and Beet Salad or Chicken Spinach Artichoke Pesto Pasta--fast and easy is the name of the game.
    Enjoy your trip!

Chose a few to share - a couple of awesome 10-minute oatmeal recipes, two super-fast dinners, and a 4-ingredient Peanut Butter Silk Pie Dip. Thanks, as always, for hosting!
