Adding your beetroot delights to the collection is easy.  Just pop your name and the name of the dish into the first Mr Linky box and paste the url of your post into the second one.

To help you choose which other links to check out, I will be pinning them to this Pinboard.

Have fun!

  2. Carole, I sure like pickled turnip on a grilled cheese sandwich and pickled cucumber on a burger, but I've never tried pickled beets on a burger. They are delicious on liver pate in a Danish open-faced sandwich as well.

I'm linking up a bunch of beet recipes, but my favorite remains what I ate for brunch today--sauteed beet greens, with a fried egg and some sourdough toast. I'm so delighted to see all these recipes, because those yummy beet greens are attached to giant beets, and I'm always looking for new ideas.
    Thanks!

  3. I linked in a few beet recipes. They are one of my favourite ingredients (and I hated them pickled as a kid!) I didn't have a change of heart until I cooked a fresh beet for myself a few years ago, and then I realized what I was missing. I also love them shaved thinly, raw, as a salad.
