Solution for yesterday’s cryptic clue

Fresh opportunity for the rest of the actors (5,4)

Solution - Green room

The clue was in 2 parts, fresh opportunity and the rest.  Green refers to “fresh” and if there is room for something, it can be an opportunity.  When I first looked at this clue I couldn’t work out what the second part could mean.  I started thinking of cast or extras.  But the clever part of the clue is that “rest” is used in the sense of “relaxation” and then I clicked that the green room is what the place where actors wait to go on is called in showbiz.
