Movies to re-watch sometime – Part VI

The Italian Job – the original one – 1969 – Michael Caine’s second film.  The Mini’s are the stars of the movie.  A classic crime caper.

The King and I – 1956 – almost an antique in movie terms.  Feast of costumes and wonderful songs.  Yul Brynner became the King.  From the golden age of musical movies.

LA Story – 1991 – Another Steve Martin vehicle with some classic American moments.  He also wrote the screen play.  Pokes fun at LA quite mercilessly.

Les Ripoux – 1984 – French with subtitles – Hilarious farce with a twist.

My Cousin Vinny – 1992 – Not just for lawyers but will be appreciated by them.  Marisa Tomei brilliant comedic timing.  When Vinny first visits the jail is one of the funniest scenes ever.
